The Authority of God's Word We are a bible believing church We learn scriptures in this church God's word contains how we should live and is the only perfect truth There is power in the word of God The word comes to us by the written word 2 Timothy 3:16-17 The bible, the holy scriptures Bible: a collection of truths that prepare one for departure from the earth ALL scripture is given by God (the entire bible) The word is infallible, without fault The word is also for correction Corrections comes privately through the word Corrections comes through preaching and ministry Corrections comes publicly The word comes to us by the spoken word Ephesians 6:17 Target one thing in your life and speak to it Start speaking the word of God Start releasing the word of God over your life, over the lives of others, everywhere You have authority in the word of God Mark 11:23 Talk to the mountain, the giant, anything and believe what you say You have the authority to claim things, to command things in Jesus's name Romans 10:8-11 Hebrews 4:1-2 You have to hear the word and believe the word (faith) Stop agreeing with every symptom and instead rebuke them The word comes to us by the living word (Jesus) John 1:1 The word is God Hebrews 4:12 The word of God is living and powerful Something happens when you take the word of God and apply them to your life You have a personal relationship with the living word and thus you will be corrected
