Led by the Spirit of God

New Life Victory Church (NLVC) Pastor Scott Anderson (PSA) Wednesday 7/31/19 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. Romans 8:(14) First step: Our mind needs to be renewed. Our mind's need to think the word of God first! Romans 12:(2) We need to set our minds on things above (heavenly), not on things on the earth. Colossians 3:(2) We need to live according to the Spirit as we are spiritual people. Romans 8:(5) Second step: We need to pay attention to our heart (inner man). Delight in the Lord, and He shall give us the desires of our heart. Psalms 37:(4) We are instructed to guard our hearts. Proverbs 4:(23) Next step: By a witness from the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit bears witness with our spirit. Romans 8:(15-16) We have the gifts of the Holy Spirit. (Wisdom, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Knowledge, Piety, and Fear of the Lord) Acts 21:(11-14)
